Employer/clients

Most of the places I have worked, either as an employee, consultant or vendor representative have been major financial institutions such as banks, insurance and brokerage (institutional/retail) houses. The primary almost exception was when I was employed at a IBM compatible CPU manufacturer Amdahl as a Senior Systems Engineer. Even then the majority of the clients I supported while at Amdahl fit that same financial institution profile.

• Loeb Rhoades Hornblower which was acquired by Shearson Hayden Stone and became Shearson Loeb Rhoades and is now part of CitiGroup - Institutional brokerage taken over by a retail organization
• Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Greater NY now called Empire Blue Cross - Insurance
• Chase Manhattan Bank now called J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. - Bank
• First Boston - Institutional brokerage. Now CSFB
• Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith - Retail brokerage
• AIG - American International Group - Insurance
• ADP Brokerage - Service bureau
• Southwestern Bell - Telephone company
